Scholarship Information

Scholarship Name:
Dorothy E. Ann Fund (D.E.A.F.)
The fund grants to qualified students who are deaf or hard of hearing and have demonstrated a strong academic record; financial need; good character; and plan to pursue full-time, post-secondary education.
Eligibility Requirements:
  • Candidates must attend college full-time.
  • Candidates must be a graduating high school senior from a high school in Delaware, Fairfield, Franklin, Licking, Madison, Pickaway, or Union counties.
  • Candidates must have a minimum 2.8 grade point average.
  • Candidates must possess a minimum 80 Db hearing loss in both ears, according to an audiogram.
  • Priority will be given to students attending Columbus State Community College, Gallaudet University, or National Technical Institute for the Deaf at Rochester Institute of Technology.
